Jennifer Wester, RN, is the founder and CEO of Arete Healthcare Solutions. She has dedicated over 27 years as a healthcare professional.
As a former URAC reviewer, Jennifer is integral to each accreditation and client experience. She is hands-on and provides her team with the tools, technology, and project management support they need to do their job.
She worked with healthcare start-ups and companies such as the BlUES. She worked with teams that have developed quality management programs, risk management, credentialing, IRO programs, and UM programs.
As a trained URAC Reviewer, Jennifer conducted desktop reviews and onsite reviews. She has gained invaluable knowledge of the accreditation process and URAC as an organization. She focused on Health Plan accreditation, IROs, IMEs, Credentialing, Health Care Management, Telehealth, Digital, Health Content Providers, and Clinical Integration. Jennifer is an RN in good standing in Colorado.

Mei Tang, Pharm.D., MBA, has total retail, specialty, mail pharmacy, managed care, and PBM experience. She held various positions in Fortune 500 and private and startup pharmacy companies.
Ms. Tang brings her experience in pharmacy consulting, where she was responsible for pharmacy companies' growth and true success. She helped in pharmacy accreditation, operational efficiency, policy and procedure development, pharmacy startup, project management, business development, infrastructure-assisted clients or build-out, system implementation, and staff training and development. Past successful roles include Director of Pharmacy at OptumRx, Vice President of Operations at ModernHealth, and many more.

Jessica Cox, RN, is an independent healthcare consultant specializing in regulatory affairs and accreditation activities related to the healthcare industry and managed care activities. Ms. Cox has extensive leadership and consulting experience in corporate business, medical management organizations, managed care program development, and regulatory compliance activities. In addition, Ms. Cox has successfully coordinated and facilitated the accreditation of numerous organizations with respect to their medical management programs.
Before becoming an independent consultant, Ms. Cox was the Director of Regulatory Affairs and Accreditation for McKessonHBOC, overseeing the development of a centralized regulatory compliance program to coordinate all accreditation and regulatory compliance activities for utilization management, case management, and disease management and telephonic triage programs. In this capacity, Ms. Cox coordinated the interface with state and federal regulatory agencies and accreditation agencies, directed the successful URAC accreditation for the utilization management program, coordinated client audits, and conducted regulatory orientation and training programs for all levels of staff and management team.

Judy Kerr, RN, CCM, came directly from URAC and served 9 YEARS as a lead URAC reviewer and trainer.
She conducted approximately 2000 URAC Accreditations reviews.
Judy trained new URAC Reviewers in ALL URAC accreditation programs; health plan, case management, utilization management, IRO, and Telehealth, to name a few.
Judy joined ARETE after she retired from URAC in 2022.
She brings with her 25 + years of working in healthcare—Judy's first-hand knowledge of the healthcare industry. As a registered nurse and certified case manager, Judy spent over 25 years working within a Health Plan with experiences including Medical Review Specialist, Medicare Provider Education/Training, Medicare Clinical Outcomes Coordinator for Quality, Medical Claims Specialist, and Network Quality Management Consultant.
Judy is an RN in good standing in Pennsylvania.

As a Clinical Reviewer, Rachel has over 20 years of clinical experience. Rachel’s experience includes case
management, disease management, utilization review, ICU, PACU, and medical-surgical. She has had the
opportunity to assist in educating employees regarding URAC accreditation for utilization review and case management and worked for such organizations as The Hartford, Cigna, and Empire Blue Cross Blue
Shield. Ms. Kelly-Brown joined URAC in 2017 as an Accreditation Clinical Reviewer. Rachel enjoys
gourmet cooking and kayaking in her free time.
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS AND MARKETING
My background includes a business degree in marketing and graphic design. Much of my career has focused on project management, database libraries, and debit processes, and I am skilled in team coordination, integrated marketing, and process resolution. All of these skills are helpful here behind the scenes at Arete. We have also had success with customer PowerPoints in one-off cases. All-in-all, I found a home here at Arete Healthcare Solutions in 2023.

Ms. CC, RN, BS joined the ARETE Team after serving 12 years as a URAC reviewer.
She served as the lead reviewer at URAC for health plan and other accreditation programs, including IRO, Health Utilization Management, Case Management, Specialty Pharmacy, and PBM.
Before joining URAC, CC served as a medical management specialist for United Healthcare, a clinical management specialist for Pacificare of California, a senior executive at the Mission Bay Medical group, and a critical care nurse and staff nurse at two hospitals.
CC received her B.S. degree in Business and Management from the University of Redlands, She is an RN in good standing in California.

Experience with URAC, AAAHC, and NCQA HEDIS audits.
Debbie is currently a manager of Population Health for a health plan. Formerly a URAC Clinical Accreditation Reviewer for multiple programs, including CM (including TOC), UM, IME, IRO, Credentialing, and Population Health.
Debbie’s additional clinical experience includes positions as a Quality Management leader and Nurse Educator within a medical management organization. She assisted the organization in earning URAC accreditations in CM with TOC and UM. Initial nursing experiences in the medical intensive care unit, post-anesthesia, and community health formed the basis for incorporating quality and standards into all aspects of healthcare.
Debbie is certified in healthcare quality, earning her CPHQ in 2018, and has held an active certification in case of management since 2012.
URAC has overhauled its standards. There are new standard requirements and a completely new naming convention. BIG CHANGES!
